Looking forward to the front of the line. We're actually pretty close. There were about 30,000 riders in the tour.
Although the tour was 42 miles long there was plenty of opportunity to stop and rest. This was one of the many halts during the tour as we were held up to let traffic pass.
Near the end of the tour was the Verazzano bridge. We stopped about a mile or so before the bridge to catch our breath. Of course once we got there, we again had plenty of time to rest up before the climb up the bridge.
